Waterdrops on the CD

My First goal was a shot of colours of the waterdrops on which the sunlight reflects. as always failed cause I wasn't able to find the right direction.
So I decided to import the image from my camera, and turned that into b/w.

It looks better although This is not what I was aimed for.

i smhow cant think of it as waterdrops on a CD.. to me, it looks like the water is fallin from above n soon dat big waterdrop will fall on ur lens :) nice shot..has a dramatic feel..

Wicked abstract shot, what kind of lens did you use to shoot it, or was it just a point and shoot?

@DaveB: I have only canon EF-S 18-55 (Bundle) Lens.
I tried to close up to the droplets on the cd as possible as i could and that's all i could becaue I don't have any other macro lens.
